The purpose of data collection is the management of resumes and corporate selection processes. Such processing is lawful because it is necessary for the implementation at the employee’s request of pre-contractual measures or the intention to conclude a contract (art. 6.1 b) GDPR).

  • Clients

The purpose of data processing in this area is to manage our customer relationships. Such processing is legitimized by the execution of a contract between SMS Europa and the customer. (Art. 6.1 b) RGPD)

  • Suppliers

The processing of data in this area is for the purpose of managing relations with our suppliers. Such processing is legitimized by the execution of a contract between SMS Europa and the provider. (Art. 6.1 b) RGPD)

  • Security cameras

The purpose of data processing in this area is to ensure the security of persons, goods and facilities. Such processing is legitimate for the satisfaction of legitimate interests pursued by the controller (Art. 6.1 f) GDPR).

To whom will we disclose your personal information?

SMS EUROPA will only transmit personal data to:

  • To external service providers contractually bound as processors – such as hosting services, IT maintenance, cybersecurity, media management, marketing companies and the like – who will process your data strictly according to SMS EUROPA’s instructions.
  • If legally appropriate, to third parties such as bodies, agencies and institutions of the General State Administration, regional and local administrations; jurisdictional bodies and State Security Forces and Corps.

How long will we keep your data?

Personal data provided will be retained based on the following criteria:

  1. Legal obligation to conserve
  2. Duration of the processing for which your data is collected
  3. Limitation period for legal liabilities that may derive from processing
  4. Request for deletion sent by you in the cases in which it is appropriate.

Conservation period:

  1. Personal data provided during the contractual relationship will be kept during the execution of the contract and thereafter until the statute of limitations of the legal responsibilities that may arise from the processing.
  2. Candidate employment data: 2 years from the end of the selection process.
  3. Personal data obtained through the information e-mail, which appears on the website, will be kept only for the time necessary to fulfill the request.
  4. Security camera images: 1 month from the capture of the images

How can you exercise your rights in relation to your personal data?

To revoke the consents granted, as well as to exercise the rights of access, rectification, suppression, opposition, limitation and portability, as well as not to be subject to automated individual decision-making, you may send a written request to the postal address located at Calle La Granja 1, Edificio a, 2º E, 28108 Alcobendas (Madrid); or via e-mail: rgpd@grupo-sms.com.

The request must include: name and surname(s) of the interested party; valid identification document of the interested party and, if applicable, of his representative, as well as proof of representation; address for the purpose of notifications and specification of the purpose of the request.

In the event that the interested party considers that the aforementioned rights have not been complied with in accordance with current legislation, he/she may file the corresponding claim for the protection of rights before the Spanish Data Protection Agency.

Mandatory or optional nature of the data requested

The mandatory data for each form are identified as such on the forms. Refusal to provide such information will prevent communication with the USER and, if applicable, the impossibility of participating in the contest.

International transfers

SMS EUROPA does not transfer personal data outside the European Community.
